Want to learn more about me?

I was born in Israel and raised in metro DC where I still live with my husband, three kids, and our dog.

I have always been drawn to art and everything creative since I was a child. I attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. As I studied at The University of the Arts, I was allured by some of the great illustrative artists of the past such as Norman Rockwell, Maxfield Parrish, Gustav Klimt, Alphonse Mucha, and Wayne Thiebaud. This is when I fell in love with the human form now ever present  in the expressive characters in my paintings. Years later I earned a Masters in Interior Design from the Corcoran College of Art (now George Washington University in DC).

I am an artist who loves to bring a narrative to my work, often combining  motifs from my youth and sparks of inspiration from pop culture. When I’m not busy running around with my kids, you can often find me barefoot in my home studio sipping coffee, listening to a podcast or some great tunes with my dog, Ziggy, at my feet, surrounded by houseplants, painting or daydreaming about places in the world I would love to explore.
